What it is & who it’s for
This tool puts you in the shoes of a young woman facing a forced marriage. Through tough choices, you’ll uncover the mechanisms of coercion and the consequences of each decision. The goal is to escape the marriage and find a way out. This experience is designed to raise awareness, educate, and equip anyone who might one day help someone in danger.

Some definition before starting
Forced marriage
A forced marriage is where one or both people do not or cannot consent to the marriage and pressure or abuse is used to force them into it. It is also when anything is done to make someone marry before they turn 18, even if there is no pressure or abuse.
Gender based violence
Violence directed against a person because of that person’s gender/sex, gender identity or expression, or sexual orientation, or violence that affects persons of a particular gender disproportionately.
